MISSION STATEMENT
The New Brunswick Outfitter Guide Association is committed
to fostering a strong and stable outfitting and guiding industry
in New Brunswick that offers the highest quality outdoor and
hunting and fishing experiences and professional standards.
The Association is committed to the promotion and practice of
wise conservation management and use of natural resources.
The Association recognizes the importance of strengthening
co-operation and promoting cordial relations between its members.
The Association seeks to improve laws governing or affecting
the outfitting, guiding and tourism industry in New Brunswick,
and to protect its members from unfair and discriminatory legislation.
The Association is committed to raising the profile of outfitting
and guiding in a positive and professional manner to benefit
the industry as a whole.
AIMS and OBJECTIVES The aims and
objectives of The New Brunswick Professional Outfitter Guide
Association are to unite all user groups in the hunting, fishing
and guiding industry under one united voice. The Association
will work closely with government in research, conservation,
enforcement or any matters of concern to the industry to enhance
and promote the industry in the province and abroad. The Association
will provide reliable data to government, support new and existing
members in developing or improving businesses to better serve
the industry. The Association will work to ensure the survival
of the industry today and in the future and protect the outdoor
heritage of New Brunswick. It will seek out all opportunities
to provide members with cost saving plans and programs to better
the industry. It will promote the New Brunswick fish and hunt
industry equitably for all members of the Association. The Association
will develop a Code of Ethics to provide a standard of conduct
for its members and to give a clear indication to clients what
to expect from members of the Association.
